In early March 2012 with the help of funding, raised by friends and family, Lourdes wen to a cancer treatment center called Integrated Cancer Therapy Centers in Playas de Tijuana. Lourdes could not move by herself. She was barely conscious and pale. Her body was swollen from the cancer. The center focuses on natural treatments of cancer with no side effects. The center uses phototherapy, Sonotherapy, Amigdalina IV, Poly MVA, and nutrition. Lourdes was saturated with nutrition and treatments through her IV catheter. The results were astounding! Lourdes' tumors started to retreat. Her swollen body went back to its normal shape. By the end of the third week Lourdes was moving around without the aid of anyone. She was positively healing. Unfortunately Lourdes could not continue treatments because the money that her friends and family had raised ran out, and the center in Mexico does not accept insurance. Away from the watchful eyes of her doctors and all of the treatments Lourdes started to weaken immediately. Within a week she became to weak to walk around on her own anymore, and the swelling in her body is returning. She desperately needs to get back to the center so that she can rid the cancer from her body once and for all.
